You can adjust the Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet preferences on a Mac OS X computer for better performance, accuracy and enjoyment when drawing directly to a digital canvas. The Bamboo Pen Tablet default settings suffice for basic use, however more in-depth design work requires custom settings to achieve best results for advanced creations. Use the Bamboo Pen Tablet Control Panel utility to personalize settings.
Bamboo Pen Settings
1.Click the “Finder” icon located on the Apple desktop dock. Click “Applications” and then click the “Bamboo” item.
2.Click the “Pen” tab. Move the 'Eraser Feel' slider tool toward “Soft” or “Firm” to adjust the amount of pressure required to erase. Tick the “Click Sound” box if you want an audible “click” sound when a pen click occurs.
3.Move the “Tip Feel” slider bar toward “Soft” or “Firm” to change the pressure required to draw or click. Move the “Double Click Distance” slider tool toward “Small” if it is too easy to double-click or toward “Big” if it is too hard to double-click.
4.Click the pen upper button drop-down box and click the action you prefer the upper button to perform. Click the pen lower button drop-down box and click the action you want the lower button to perform.
5.Click “Advanced” and click “Hover Click” if you want the pen to perform click actions without touching the tablet surface. Click “Click & Tap” if you want to select a click action by pressing a pen button before touching the pen tip to the tablet surface. Click the “OK” button.
Pen Mode Settings
1.Click the 'Pen' tab. Click the “Pen Mode” radio button to control the tablet cursor position strictly with the position of the pen.

Move the “Mouse Acceleration” slider bar toward “High” if you want faster Mouse Mode cursor acceleration. Move the “Mouse Acceleration” slider bar toward “Off” if you want less or no Mouse Mode cursor acceleration.
3.Move the “Mouse Speed” bar toward “Slow” to decrease cursor speed or move the slider bar toward “Fast” to increase cursor speed.
4.Click “Default” to return all settings displayed to factory defaults. Click the “OK” button.
Popup Menu Tab
1.Click the “Pop-up Menu” tab. Click “Add” and then a function option you want to access from the tablet Pop-up Menus.
2.Click a “Pop-up Items” option and click “Remove” to remove a tablet Pop-up menu item.
3.Click the “Pop-up Font” box and a font option to change Pop-up fonts.
4.Click the “Font Size” box and then a size option to change the Pop-up font size.
5.Click “Default” if you wish to reset Pop-up Menu tab settings to factory defaults.
Tablet Tab
1.Click the “Tablet” tab. Click the “Left Handed” radio button to orient tablet functions for left handed use.
2.Click “Right Handed” to orient the tablet for right handed use.
3.Click the drop box next to each “ExpressKeys” button and click a function to associate with each button.
4.Remove touch operation by clicking “Disable all touch input.”
5.Click 'Default' if you wish to reset the Tablet tab settings to factory defaults.
Touch Speed Tab
1.Click the “Touch Speed” tab. Lower pointer speed by moving the “Pointer Speed” slider bar toward “Slow” or increase pointer speed by moving the slider bar toward “Fast.”
2.Decrease pointer acceleration by moving the “Pointer Acceleration” slider tool toward “Low” or increase pointer acceleration by moving the slider tool toward “High.”
3.Increase the time allotted to register a double-tap by moving the “Double-Tap Time” slider bar toward “Longer” or decrease time allotted by moving the slider bar toward “System.”
4.Decrease the pointer scrolling speed by moving the “Scrolling Speed” slider tool toward “Slow” or increase pointer scrolling speed by moving the slider tool toward “Fast.”
5.Click “Default” if you wish to reset the Touch Speed tab settings to factory defaults.
Touch Functions Tab
